Tellegio has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Joe doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Tellegio counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Joe off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Tellegio follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Joe was out before he hit the floor.

Joe looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Conroy seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Alan Conroy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Slugger Joe.
