White tries to close the distance and clinch but Daybutch swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Daybutch is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
White ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Daybutch moves away.
Daybutch swats away the attempt to clinch by White.
Daybutch ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Daybutch unleashes a big counter combination but White bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
White tries to clinch up
enabling Daybutch to counter with a crisp jab. #CUT2#
It looks like Royal White has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Daybutch tries to bum rush White with a series of wild strikes but White uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Daybutch counters with a right, left combo that wobbles White badly! Daybutch follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks White out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Daybutch finished him against the ropes.

Royal White was interviewed post fight and said 'win or lose I will come stronger'.

Daybutch plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Page swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Page face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!

Goff shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Daybutch pinned against the cage. Daybutch gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Goff could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Goff closes the distance and clinches up with Daybutch, looking for a takedown. Goff pushes Daybutch against the cage but Daybutch circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Daybutch counters with a crisp one two that drops Goff! Daybutch thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Goff to his feet! Goff is in big trouble!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kermit Goff. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Goff takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Daybutch lands a big right hook! Goff looks hurt but is still standing! Daybutch lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Goff falls down and Daybutch dives in with a huge hammer fist! Goff's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Daybutch runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!

Simpson tries to work over Daybutch's front leg with a kick but Daybutch checks it.
Daybutch misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Simpson only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Daybutch wants to clinch.
Simpson throws a leg kick but Daybutch moved away.
Daybutch went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Simpson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Daybutch's guard.

Daybutch wants to stand and escape. He's got his foot on Simpson's hips, looking to push off. But Simpson grabs a hold of the leg and drops back for an ankle lock! It's hard to tell if he's got it. Both fighters look composed - OH, not anymore they don't! Daybutch screams like a kid who's trapped his fingers in the car door and taps out! Yikes, that must have hurt - hopefully it's not snapped anything!

Claws will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Daybutch seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Claws for as long as he can get away with.
Daybutch is nestled in close to Claws, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
