Quincy gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Daniels to score an easy takedown into full guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Daniels is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Quincy can do anything to dispel that myth.

Schmo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Daniels moves away.
Schmo sets himself, and Daniels steps forward looking for the clinch! Schmo avoids it this time.
Schmo leaves Daniels with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Daniels tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Schmo swivels and escapes.
Joe Schmo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rick Daniels.
