Balnowski tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Vaex just stands there and leans against the cage.
Vaex lands with a right to the head.

Balnowski is pressed against the cage. Vaex pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Balnowski! Two more big strikes from Vaex and Balnowski crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!

Tavau tightens his grip and picks Balnowski up, before dumping him to the ground. Balnowski manages to land in guard.
Balnowski is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Tavau is controlling him.

Tavau has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Balnowski slips a jab and a cross from Alastair.
Alastair swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Balnowski counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Balnowski working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Alastair's head.
Balnowski distracts Alastair with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Alastair striking off his back but it's not causing Balnowski any problems.
Balnowski chips away with some ground and pound.
Balnowski passes Alastair's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Balnowski uses his free foot to push down on Alastair's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Alastair.
Balnowski fails to move to back control.
Balnowski looking to control and managing it successfully.
Balnowski wants to control the pace but Alastair is squirming around nicely. #T1#
Alastair is in a horrible position here. Balnowski smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Balnowski is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Alastair can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Balnowski postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Alastair badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Balnowski around the waist but Balnowski pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Balnowski is the winner by TKO! Balnowski jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
