Bouchard lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Patterson up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Bouchard from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Patterson's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Patterson is taking a breather. Ray says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Patterson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Ray for as long as he can get away with.
Patterson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
