That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cark Sookael. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sookael takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Sookael dives in and grabs Michaels's left leg, looking for a takedown. Michaels pushes down on Sookael's head and hops out.

Michaels cracks Sookael with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Sookael tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Michaels pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Sookael is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

A less than humble George Michaels misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.

We've been hearing reports that Sookael has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Sookael really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#TD2#
