enabling Graves to counter with a crisp jab.

Graves lands a nice shot to the body.
Hanibal jumps guard but Graves stands there with Hanibal around his waist. Hanibal gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Graves makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Graves creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Hanibal's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Hanibal drops to his knees and Graves pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

It looks like Dexter Cooke has been cut.
Cooke goes for a double leg but Graves avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Graves continues to drive forward.
Cooke misses with a double jab
and Graves scores with a counter punch that sends Cooke to the canvas! Graves smells blood - he's punishing Cooke with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Cooke has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Schmeldty throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jab, jab by Schmeldty - just one landing.
Graves swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Schmeldty counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Schmeldty stalks Graves and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Graves's face. Graves staggers backwards, shaken.#ROC2#

Graves walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Schmeldty swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

Vargas shoots in looking for a takedown but Graves manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Vargas's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Vargas looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Vargas takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Graves connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Vargas momentarily.
Vargas uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Graves.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Vargas.
Vargas throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Graves dips down and scores with a jab to the body.#KD#
Graves cracks Vargas with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Graves has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Vargas to stand back up!#ROC#

It looks like Ashley Vargas has been cut.
Vargas is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vargas leaves his chin hanging out and Graves seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Vargas crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
