Sanders crunches a lovely knee into Frank's ribcage.
Sanders putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Frank in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Sanders tries to pull guard but Frank won't allow it.
Frank being controlled against the cage.
Frank wants to break free but Sanders has control.
Frank has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
I was talking to Sanders's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Frank can't break the clinch.
Frank goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Frank tries to work over Sanders's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Sanders lands a nice knee to the body. #TD#

Sanders has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Sanders takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Sanders lands a nice short elbow.
Sanders content to control rather than advance.
Frank really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sanders. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sanders working over Frank with some ground and pound. Frank looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Sanders closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Frank is trying to escape the position but Sanders is controlling the position.
Frank is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Sanders has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Sanders advances to mount.
Sanders landing strikes from the mount and Frank is in trouble!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sanders connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Sanders tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. #SUB#
Sanders looking for a guillotine from mount but Frank is having none of it. #T3##SUB#
Sanders has isolated one of Frank's arms. Frank looking to fight him off but Sanders twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!

Mahcock on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Mahcock avoids the head kick by Frank.
Good standup being displayed there by Frank as he connects with a hook.#CUT#
It looks like Phil Mahcock has been cut.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Mahcock has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
A jab from Frank misses.
A little jabbing left from Mahcock on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Mahcock misses with a series of wild punches.
An attempted straight right counter from Frank misses the target.
Mahcock bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Frank throws a sloppy head kick and Mahcock moves out of range easily.
As Frank backs off Mahcock throws a huge counter combo but Frank manages to avoid it all.
Frank listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Mahcock looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Mahcock just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromFrank.

Frank slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

and Mahcock counters with a series of strikes. Frank will be more careful next time no doubt.

Mahcock has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Frank regains guard immediately.
Mahcock is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Mahcock passes Frank's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Mahcock seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Mahcock remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. #SUB2#
Mahcock has hold of Frank's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Frank seems comfortable defending it but Mahcock has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Frank is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Frank is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Mahcock couldn't care less - he's delighted!
