Sanchez lands a two punch combo.

It looks like Pablo Escorber has been cut.
Escorber slips a jab and a cross from Sanchez.
A jab from Sanchez does it's job there.
Sanchez lands with a nice combination. Escorber backs away looking to recover.#TD2#
Escorber drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Sanchez could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Escorber is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. #CUT2#
It looks like Diego Sanchez has been cut.
Sanchez keeping moving, preventing Escorber from controlling successfully.
Escorber arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Sanchez's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Post fight, an emotional Pablo Escorber said 'I! I! I knew that Adam Kodman is gonna shoot more takedowns in this fight so what I did is timing him with a striking counter and finish the fight. Thanks to my couch and my fans, love you guys.....'.
Diego Sanchez was interviewed post fight and said 'My opponent was better than me today. I fight on.'.

Hunter fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hunter tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sanchez was well out of range. Poor timing from Hunter.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hunter looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Sanchez throws a right hand that Hunter ducks under and follows up with a left that Hunter also avoids with ease.
Sanchez displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Sanchez misses with a series of wild punches.
The fighters circle momentarily. Sanchez darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Sanchez keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A little jabbing left from Sanchez on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Hunter doesn't manage to clinch there - Sanchez circles away.
Left hook, right uppercut from Sanchez.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hunter finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Sanchez's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Hunter falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Diego Sanchez!

Sanchez fails to land with a series of punches.
Halery fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sanchez connects with a crisp jab.
Sanchez jabs Halery right on the nose. Halery blinks but takes it well.
Halery really is a fat lump.
Sanchez misses with a wild combination.
Sanchez tries to bum rush Halery with a series of wild strikes but Halery uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Halery has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Halery fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sanchez lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Halery backs up against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sanchez lands a jab-cross combination.
Sanchez throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Sanchez ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Halery will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Halery lands a leg kick that knocks Sanchez off balance momentarily.
Halery doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Sanchez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tommy Halery. That's going to take a lot out of him.#T1#
Sanchez scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Halery doesn't seem bothered though.

Sanchez throws a series of strikes that have Halery backpedaling.

Sanchez lands a left and a right that send Halery crashing to the mat, dazed. Sanchez thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#ROC2#

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sanchez grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Halery takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Sanchez cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
