Eckert shoots in for a takedown but Le shows good takedown defense.
Le really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Eckert shoots in looking for a takedown. Le tries to sprawl out of it but Eckert keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Le manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Eckert is defended easily by Le.
Le feinted there with a counter leg kick.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Eckert is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Briggs looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Briggs trying to control the position but instead, Eckert has worked for underhooks and has pushed Briggs into the cage.
