Holman with a lazy takedown attempt
and Holman takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Holman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Goddard tries to avoid it but Holman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Goddard to the ground. Goddard escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Goddard misses with a two punch combination.
Goddard tries to clinch up.
Holman takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Numbers Holman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Goddard is trying to break the clinch but Holman has him pressed against the cage.

Goddard has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Holman after a bit of a struggle.

Holman has hold of Goddard's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Goddard seems comfortable defending it but Holman has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Goddard is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Goddard is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Holman couldn't care less - he's delighted!
