Hill walks into a stiff left hand from Essando.
Essando jabs Hill to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Hill on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Essando. Essando obviously looking to wear him down.

Hill decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hill lands a nice short elbow.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hill slows the pace down in half guard.
Hill winds up and cracks Essando with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Essando is trying to control but can't.
Hill looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Essando with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hill connects with a nice short shot to Essando's temple. #ROC2#

Oh Essando is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hill lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Essando quite badly. Essando pulls Hill in close trying to recover. Hill postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Essando on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Essando doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
