Hill feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Hill stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johnson swivels though and keeps the full guard. #SUB#

Hill is looking to defend but Johnson has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Hill! Johnson pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Hill taps out and this one is all over!

Miocic manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hill on his heels. He'll look to pass Hill's guard now, I'm sure.

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Hill gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Hill apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Hill walks into a stiff left hand from Essando.
Essando jabs Hill to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Hill on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Essando. Essando obviously looking to wear him down.

Hill looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Essando with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Hill postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Essando on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Essando doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
