Blackwell shoots in and drives through. Southern sprawls well.
Blackwell dives in for a single leg takedown but Southern sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Southern feints with a jab and clips Blackwell right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Blackwell is sent crashing into the canvas and Southern leaps in for the kill! Blackwell tries to get to his feet but Southern is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Blackwell is in need of a savior and steps in!

Dfv feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Blackwell sprawling to the canvas! Blackwell rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Dfv finish him?!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dfv ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Blackwell's jaw. Blackwell's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Dfv does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Diave enables Blackwell to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Diave manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
