Manning is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Rock has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Rock!
Rock postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Manning is trying to stick to Rock's back but Rock is turning into Manning. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Manning's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Rock.

Manning pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rock changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Manning tries to avoid it but Rock manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Manning to the ground. Manning escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. #TD#

Rock really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Manning. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Rock dives in and grabs Manning's left leg, looking for a takedown. Manning pushes down on Rock's head and hops out.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Shad Manning.
