Vodka forces Mao back against the cage and clinches.
Mao looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Mao is pressed up against the cage. Vodka has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mao down to the mat. Mao avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Mao cracks the inside of Vodka's front leg.
Vodka throws a series of punches but Mao avoids them all with ease.
Mao fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Vodka throws a head kick that misses.
Mao misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Vodka displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Vodka tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Mao counters with a left and a right that stings Vodka.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mao throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Vodka.
Vodka misses the jab.
Mao tries to score with a low kick but Vodka moves his leg out of the way.
A slapping leg kick lands for Mao.
Mao lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.#T1#

It looks like Tommy Vodka has been cut.
Vodka looks winded!
Mao throws a nice looking combination but Vodka bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Vodka is looking to clinch but Mao is avoiding it.
Mao lands a slapping body shot.
Mao lands a big head kick that sends Vodka to the canvas! Mao follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cai Mao!
In his post fight interview, Cai Mao started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Vodka jumps guard and drags Adams to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Adams pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Vodka is keeping the position for now.
Adams trying to control but Vodka is working from the bottom.
Vodka really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Adams. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Vodka lands a big right hand that sends Salazar crashing to the mat! Vodka stays standing though and waves Salazar back to his feet!#CUT2#
It looks like Teddy Salazar has been cut.

Salazar is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.#BC2#
Vodka pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Salazar really is a fat lump.
Vodka smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sloppy strikes from Vodka. Those never looked like landing.
Vodka cracks Salazar's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Salazar slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Vodka can do further damage! This one is done, son!
