We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lourenco can do anything to dispel that myth.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tasker connects with a nice short shot to Gridin's temple.

Gridin has had enough of the clinch but Tasker keeps him there for the moment.
Tasker jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gridin walks away with a smile on his face. Tasker gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. #TD2#

Gridin is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Tasker asserts his dominance and retains side control.
We've been hearing good reports from Gridin's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.#SUB2#
Tasker is working to tighten his grip on Gridin's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Gridin has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Tasker is really squeezing tight and eventually Gridin passes out! Tasker breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
