Anthony Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chuck Carel.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Carel tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Slick paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Carel shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Slick as he jumps to the side.
Carel fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Slick manages to avoid it.
Carel shoots for a double leg takedown but Slick sprawls well. He's pushed Carel's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
As Carel looks to move away, Slick throws a big counter combo but Carel just gets out of the way.
Slick throws a sloppy head kick and Carel moves out of range easily.
Carel tries to clinch there but Slick circles away.
Slick is looking for a counter combo.
Slick avoids the head kick by Carel.
Carel misses the shot to the body.

Carel shoots in for a takedown but Brigante shows good takedown defense.
Carel takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.#CUT2#

and Brigante counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Brigante lands a slapping body shot.
Carel closes the distance but Brigante moves to the side
and Brigante counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.#ROC2#

and Brigante counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Carel has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
