Dejesus gets control of Ishibashi's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dejesus will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Ishibashi won't allow Dejesus to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Dejesus enables Ishibashi to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dejesus manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Ishibashi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dejesus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Sweeney closes the distance and clinches.
Sweeney tries to pull guard but Ishibashi won't allow it.

Ishibashi content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Sweeney will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Sweeney manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ishibashi manages to get himself to full guard.
