Machnacz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Russell is fending him off so far but Machnacz persists. Nope, Russell circles away and we're back to standing.
Russell is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Machnacz misses with a takedown attempt - Russell sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Machnacz shoots and misses
and Russell counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darius Machnacz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Russell stuffs the takedown attempt from Machnacz. Machnacz gets slowly back to his feet.
Machnacz fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Russell has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Russell manages to break the clinch.
Russell throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Machnacz.
Machnacz gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Russell counters with a nice uppercut.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Machnacz is defended easily by Russell.
Russell is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.#KD2#
Russell sends Machnacz crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Russell is motioning to the referee to let Machnacz up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!#T2#
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Russell plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Machnacz to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Machnacz just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

Yonic is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Machnacz can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Machnacz is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Yonic gets his way!

Boss Yonic spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
