Let's hope that Joe has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee asks Joe politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Joe prefers to stall for the moment though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Forty bucks up and tries to throw Joe off but instead Joe has got his back!

Joe maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Forty could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Joe has cracked it and Forty is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Joe!

Forty wants to break the clinch but can't.
Forty tries to pull guard but Jones holds him up against the cage and eventually Forty drops back down to his feet.

Jones lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Jones throws a big uppercut that drops Forty! More strikes from Jones and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Forty lies dazed against the cage as Jones celebrates with his cornermen!

Jeremy Jones tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.

Nice takedown defense from Reynolds. No joy for Forty on that attempt.
Forty lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Reynolds circles away quickly and effectively.
Reynolds throws a big counter combination but Forty scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Reynolds cracks Forty with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the ropes! Forty falls to his knees and Reynolds doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alexander Reynolds!
Alexander Reynolds thanked the fans post fight for their support.
