Yoshida tries to move into range but Head moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Yoshida lands a nice shot to the body.

Yoshida has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
A shot to the liver by Head. Beautiful body shot.
Crack Head seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yoshida is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Head cracks Yoshida with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Yoshida falls to his knees and Head doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Crack Head really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Drumpf Pharmaceutical 145.000114q logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.

Akerman definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Akerman drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Yoshida's head, knocking him out cold! Akerman is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

Joran Akerman really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Quark's logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.

Calvus darts in looking for a takedown but Yoshida gets double underhooks and turns Calvus into the cage.

It looks like Erik Calvus has been cut.
Calvus shoots for a double leg takedown but Yoshida sprawls well. He's pushed Calvus's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Erik Calvus. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hurt swings widly with a right hand
and Yoshida makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hurt lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Yoshida has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Yoshida and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
