Mier seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Mier throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Mier tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Powers is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Mier scores with a couple of nice shots.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mier thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Powers works his way to full guard. Good work.
Mier trying to control the position from guard on top but Powers is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

I've got Mier winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
