McDonald takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
May jabs McDonald right on the nose. McDonald blinks but takes it well.
McDonald tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but May paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A little feinted left hand from May on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
McDonald with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling May to score with a decent uppercut.
McDonald closes the distance looking to clinch
and May counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
McDonald is looking to clinch but May is avoiding it.
May changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
McDonald has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.#CUT#
It looks like David McDonald has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
May cracks McDonald's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! McDonald slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before May can do further damage! This one is done, son!

McDonald tries to close the distance and clinch but Knox swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
