Vevius shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bandero's guard.
Vevius stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bandero swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Vevius has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Bandero is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Vevius yanks on the arm and Bandero is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Vevius.

Kinkladze gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Bandero connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Yuri Kinkladze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kinkladze shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Bandero counters with a straight right hand.

and Bandero cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
