We've been hearing that Pounds has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Pounds postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Angeli looks a forlorn figure.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pounds looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Angeli covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!

Allen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Opin lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Angeli.
Opin goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Angeli misses with some punches.
Opin lands a right hand.
Angeli is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Opin dips a shoulder and cracks Angeli with a mighty uppercut! Angeli falls back against the cage and Opin unloads with a barrage of strikes! Angeli is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Opin screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Angeli uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Raider.
Raider misses with a two punch combination.
Angeli was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Raider takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Alessandro Angeli decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Thai's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Angeli connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Thai scrambles back to his feet.

Angeli's coach down at Men Only. No Liberals ! was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Angeli's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.#KD2#
