Kamei misses with a series of wild punches.
Kamei scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Reid gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Kamei's corner calls for a 1-2. Kamei obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Reid walks into a straight right hand from Kamei.
Kamei scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Reid shoots for a double leg takedown but Kamei sprawls well. He's pushed Reid's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Koichi Kamei has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Logan Reid.

Diaz shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Diaz tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Diaz! Reid is out on his feet! Diaz rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Reid is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Reid is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joey Diaz!
A very excited looking Joey Diaz made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

Reid takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Golovkin connects with a jab.
Logan Reid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reid needs to keep his hands up - Golovkin had a free shot at his head there.
Golovkin throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Reid stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Reid tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Golovkin swivels and escapes.
Golovkin throws a big counter combination but Reid scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Golovkin rushes Reid with punches - Reid moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Reid goes down! Golovkin follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
