Curt closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rand circles away.
Curt throws a head kick that misses.
Rand blocks a head kick by Curt.
Curt tries for a takedown but Rand circles away easily
and Rand cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Rand lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Curt dives in for a single leg takedown but Rand sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Ward Rand has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob Curt.
Curt throws a head kick that misses.
Rand throws a nice inside leg kick.
Curt fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Curt throws a series of punches but Rand moves out of range.
Curt looks winded!
Curt throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rand's waist but Rand gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Curt off to one side.
Curt doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Rand counters with a nice body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rand lands a nice looking body kick.
Rand misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rand lands with a kick to the temple. Curt shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" #CL#

Rand could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Curt gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!

A punch lands to the side of Carter 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Curt fails to land with a series of punches.
Carter wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.#CL2#

Curt bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Carter tries to improve position but can't.

Well Curt has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
