Bickle holding both Machado 's hands and preventing any damage.

Machado looking to break Bickle's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Bickle remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Machado will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

That's eight minutes gone in the round.

Machado is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Will Machado go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

Machado is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Bickle with him. Bickle is trying to defend but Machado has an arm under the chin now! Bickle grimaces and is forced to tap out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 9:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Marcio Machado!
Travis Bickle was interviewed post fight and said 'I'm gonna clean up these streets'.
