Ryan lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Rodrigez goes down and covers up as Ryan starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!

Martinez has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Rodrigez to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Martinez is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Rodrigez pulls down on the head and he's put Martinez to sleep! This one is all over!

Shark uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Rodrigez has time to react.#CUT2#
It looks like Miguel Rodrigez has been cut.
Shark moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Shark throws out a powerful jab.
Rodrigez closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Rodrigez dives in for a single leg takedown but Shark sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Rodrigez gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Shark gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Power Shark!
A very excited looking Power Shark made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
