Tank goes for an armbar but Machado turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Machado.
Tank is adopting a defensive guard.#SUB#
Machado drops back, looking for a kneebar! Tank looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Tank looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Tank! #REVB##SUB2#
Tank tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tank has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Machado is looking to reverse the position.#T4#
Tank tries to advance position but instead Machado slips a leg back in to half guard.
Machado moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.#SUB#
Machado has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Tank should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Machado has tightened it up now! Tank should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Marcio Machado!
