Cervantes looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Luc is trying is best to control the position here.
Luc wants to get back to full guard.
Cervantes working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cervantes prevents Luc from standing back up.
Luc is trying to control but can't.
Cervantes lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Cervantes cracks Luc with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

You can see the frustration on Luc's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Cervantes just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Cervantes connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Luc to escape the position.

Cervantes lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Cervantes will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Luc is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Cervantes.
