Villas blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Villas is trying to push May away but May has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

May has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
May tries to pull guard but Camillus forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Camillus's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
May really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
May fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

May shoots in looking for a takedown. Alvarenga tries to sprawl out of it but May keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Alvarenga manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Alvarenga avoids the body shot from May.
May shoots in but doesn't get the takedown #CL2#
and Alvarenga moves into the clinch.#BC2#
Alvarenga's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
May changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Alvarenga tries to avoid it but May manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Alvarenga to the ground. Alvarenga escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Edmund May. That's going to take a lot out of him.
