Rangel shoots in but Syracuse avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Rangel definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

That was a close round but I would say that Gabriel Rangel will probably get the nod.

Joshua Syracuse seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Rangel gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Syracuse gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Rangel is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

A less than humble Joshua Syracuse misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.

Tucker thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Rangel if he has to take too many more of those.

Rangel has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Meallan is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Meallan stops a takedown attempt from Rangel.
Sheamus Meallan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gabriel Rangel.
Rangel goes for a takedown attempt but Meallan pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance. #CL#

Meallan lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Rangel - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Meallan!

Rangel tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rangel has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Bardeux wants to control but Rangel postures up.
Bardeux is trying to buck Rangel off.#SUB2#
Rangel is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Bardeux looks calm but he's in trouble here. Rangel gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Bardeux is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Rangel lets go of the hold and Bardeux can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Rangel changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bardeux looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.#SUB#
Rangel has an Americana. Bardeux didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Rangel is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Rangel hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
