Nebel lands a big uppercut and Mishima crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Mishima looks OK. Nebel waves Mishima back to his feet!
Nebel on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Mishima gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Nebel gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Mishima is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hans Nebel!
After winning the bout, Hans Nebel thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Mishima throws a poor cross that misses
and Canseco counters with a two punch combo.

Canseco manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.#TD#
Mishima gets a trip takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mishima has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Canseco is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Canseco really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mishima. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#SUB#
Mishima is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Canseco is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Canseco flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Mishima anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Canseco and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Mishima slips an arm under Canseco chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Mishima has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Mishima is squeezing on Canseco like an anaconda would it's prey. Canseco fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Yukio Mishima!

Carvalho lands a jab to the head.
Carvalho has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Mishima walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Mishima throws a looping overhand right but Carvalho ducks down to avoid it.
Carvalho feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Mishimas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Nice cross by Carvalho.
Carvalho fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Mishima misses with the combination.
Mishima misses with a body shot.
A good leg kick by Carvalho.
Mishima on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Mishima swings for the body but Carvalho moves out of range.
Despite the aggression on Carvalho's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Mishima misses the body punch
and Carvalho counters with a nice kick to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mishima shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Hambucher bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Mishima scores with the left hand. Hambucher knows he should have avoided that one.
Hambucher throws an overhand right that lands on Mishima's shoulder, as Mishima tries to avoid the shot.
Mishima takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.#CUT#
It looks like Yukio Mishima has been cut.
Hambucher finds Mishima's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Mishima flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Hambucher lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Mishima will be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Markus Hambucher!
Markus Hambucher decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Martin is sitting in close to Mishima's body. Mishima has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Martin is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Martin is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Mishima.

Mishima attempts a counter takedown but Cunningham avoids it well and moves away.

Mishima wants the takedown. Cunningham is fighting it off but Mishima persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Cunningham's guard against the cage.

Mishima drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Cunningham dives on top into guard.#REVB#

Cunningham should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
