Mbia feints and as Dunlap raises his hands in defense, Mbia changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Dunlap has Mbia pulled in close to control his posture.
Mbia must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Mbia stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dunlap swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mbia ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Mbia no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Dunlap postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Mbia really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dunlap. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dunlap shoots in looking for a takedown. Mbia tries to sprawl out of it but Dunlap keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mbia manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
