Hue on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Weight moves forwards but Hue connects with a nice, crisp jab.#KD#
Weight cracks Hue with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Weight has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Hue to stand back up!#ROC#

It looks like Timmy Hue has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hue doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Weight rattles Hue with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Hue tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Weight dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Hue stiff and motionless on the mat!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Welter Weight!
An out of breath Welter Weight thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.

Weight throws a series of punches but Hue avoids them all with ease.
Weight throws a combination that misses #TD#
and Hue counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hue.
Weight wants to stand and escape but Hue is having none of it.
Hue tries to free his leg and advance position but Weight is retaining full guard.
Hue stands and throws Weight's legs to the side, diving into side control. #SUB#
Hue tries for a kimura but Weight is defending well.
Weight really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hue. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee asks Hue politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Hue prefers to stall for the moment though.

Hue throws a sloppy head kick and Crane moves out of range easily.
Crane shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hue but Hue pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Hue stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hue wants it to stay on the feet.
Hue moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Horrible takedown attempt by Crane or perhaps it was just good defense by Hue, which made it look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alphonso Crane. That's going to take a lot out of him.
