MakGregor is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Vega asserts his dominance and retains side control.
MakGregor manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
MakGregor wants to get back to his feet.
Vega not doing much here.
Vega has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vega throws a strike but MakGregor avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

OMalley closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Conor OMalley will probably get the nod.

OMalley drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. OMalley seems to have locked his on tight now - MakGregor screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for OMalley, as he picks up the win!
