Konte controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Konte's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Golden is looking to regain half guard here but Konte keeps moving and retains side control. #T1#

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Let's hope that Konte has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Of A throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Golden looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

and Golden counters with a shoot takedown. Of A fights it but they end up in guard.
Golden seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Of A is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Golden presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Of A has cracked Golden with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Of A lands another huge swinging hook and Golden tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Golden, before Of A can land any more shots!

and Golden cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Stoichkov scores with a nice right hand.
A punch lands to the side of Golden 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Golden takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Dimitar Stoichkov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stoichkov throws a hook but Golden blocks it.
Golden showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Stoichkov.
Golden is looking for a counter combo.

Blake fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Golden to the ground. Blake is now in Golden's guard.
Blake scoring with punches to the head and body.
Blake sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Golden will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Blake gets to his feet and stands over Golden, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Golden felt that one! Blake unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Golden from any more punishment!

Golden shoots for a double leg takedown but Mike sprawls well. He's pushed Golden's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
