Alex escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Alex rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Russell moves out of range and avoids them all easily.#TD2#
Alex manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Russell on his heels. He'll look to pass Russell's guard now, I'm sure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
