We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Murphy is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Murphy's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.#SU2#
Murphy decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Maeda fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Three avoids it really well and circles away.
Maeda shoots in for a double leg but Three sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Three tries to counter with a clinch but Maeda shakes him off and moves away.
Maeda doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Three counters with a left to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keisuke Maeda. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Three lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Three throws a series of punches but Maeda moves out of range.
Three fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Three fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Maeda on the side of the head.
A swing and a miss from Three.
Three avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Maeda wants to clinch.
Maeda throws a leg kick but Three sees it coming and checks it nicely. #T1#
Nice takedown defense from Three. No joy for Maeda on that attempt.
Maeda is looking to clinch but Three is avoiding it.

Three loads up on a big right hand but Maeda slips the punch.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Three creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. #ROC2#

Oh Maeda is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Maeda blocks a punch to the side of the head.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Three.
The referee calls for Three to work.
Three lands a left hand.
Three pushes Maeda against the cage. Three is working some dirty boxing. Three pushes off with a quick right hook! Maeda goes down! Maeda tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Three moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
