The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Let's hope that Dumas has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
It looks like Dumas might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.#SUB2#

Freds steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Doe.
Doe misses with a straight right.
Doe throws a low kick, looking for Freds's leg but Freds calmly moves out of range.
The fighters circle momentarily. Doe darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Freds looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Freds misses with a straight right.
Doe rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Freds moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Doe looks to score with a jab to the body but Freds is just out of range.
Freds throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Doe makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Freds throws a hard body shot but it just misses. #CL2#
Freds darts in and clinches Doe up against the cage.
Freds lands a nice uppercut.
Doe blocking some punches.
Doe misses with a hook from the clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Freds.
Freds is leaning against Doe and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oh Doe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Doe is breathing heavily.

Doe misses with a hook from the clinch.
Freds softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
A nice left hand lands by Freds.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Freds creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Doe's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Doe drops to his knees and Freds pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Scanlan feints and as Doe raises his hands in defense, Scanlan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Doe is wriggling around but Scanlan manages to pass to half guard. #REVB#
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Scanlan perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Doe is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Scanlan scores with a couple of nice shots.
Doe avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Scanlan. #T1#
Scanlan tries to pass the half guard into mount. Doe knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
