Gaines drops his hands for a split second and Dent immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Gaines face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Dent follows up with a right hand that knocks Gaines into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

Gaines shoots in looking for a takedown. Gunapala tries to sprawl out of it but Gaines keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gunapala manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gaines looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Gunapala connects with a good right hand that stumbles Gaines. Gaines circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Gunapala throws a shot from downtown. Gaines moves away and avoids it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gunapala looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Gunapala steps in with a hook that catches Gaines right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Gunapala follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Gaines looks absolutely devastated.
