Leno throws an overhand right that lands on Mamaev's shoulder, as Mamaev tries to avoid the shot.
Mamaev swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Leno misses with a left hand
enabling Mamaev to counter with a crisp jab.
Mamaev works Leno's body with a nice hook.
Leno throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Mamaev uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Leno.
Mamaev fires out a quick counter leg kick but Leno just manages to avoid it.
Leno swinging wildly here.
Leno misses with a looping left.
Mamaev fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Leno has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Leno doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

and Mamaev cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Leno throws a looping overhand right but Mamaev ducks down to avoid it.
Jay Leno seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Leno.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Leno has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Leno throws a right hand that misses
and Praetorian counters with a nice low kick that buckles Leno's knee momentarily.
Leno wants to clinch
and Praetorian counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Praetorian moves into range and connects with a jab.
Leno takes a jab right on the kisser.
Leno takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Leno fails to land with a series of punches.
Leno feints a jab promting Praetorian to slip. Leno then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Praetorian slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.#CUT2#It looks like Ares Praetorian has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Leno lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Praetorian circles away quickly and effectively.
Leno takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Leno throws a poor cross that misses
and Praetorian counters with a huge left! Leno is in big trouble! He's backing up but Praetorian isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Leno from any more damage. A dominating finish by Praetorian!

Leno throws an overhand right that lands on Sturridge's shoulder, as Sturridge tries to avoid the shot.

Leno cracks Sturridge with an uppercut from hell and Sturridge crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Leno's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
