We've been hearing good reports from Tiv's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Tiv slips a jab from Davis.
A looping hook to the body misses from Davis. Tiv does a little dance to reset his feet.
Tiv shoots in for a takedown but Davis shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Davis leaves Tiv with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Davis lands with a nice body punch.

Davis dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Magomedov takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Magomedov swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Davis lands a nice hook to Magomedov's body. Magomedov takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Davis's corner calls for a 1-2. Davis obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

and Davis counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Davis circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Magomedov tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Davis wins by KO!

A relieved looking Gervonta Davis thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Davis drops Cooke with a huge uppercut! Cooke drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Davis is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
