It looked like Grant wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Pope Jr is pawing at Grant, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Grant's nose. Grant is badly hurt! Pope Jr pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Grant tries desperately to hold on but Pope Jr is relentless in his assault! As Grant receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Pope Jr away and this one is in the books!
