Claude tries to clinch but Pines is having none of it.
Pines shoots in looking for a takedown but Claude manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pines's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Pines closes the distance and clinches up with Claude, looking for a takedown. Pines pushes Claude against the cage but Claude circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Pines shoots in but no luck this time.
Jean Claude has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of OJ Pines.

Claude has taken the fight to the clinch.

Claude pushes Pines back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Pines goes for a takedown attempt but Claude pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Claude swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Pines.
Pines takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Claude is looking to clinch but Pines is avoiding it.
Pines will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Pines is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Claude creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Pines's defenses.

Pines has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Claude seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Pines can turn it around.

Claude throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Piness head.
Claude unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Pines! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Claude is unloading with more strikes now! Pines drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
