Franzen has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hickings finds it's way round the side to connect with Franzen's head.
Franzen takes one to the chin there.
Hickings connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Franzen throws a push kick but Hickings slaps the foot to one side.
Franzen shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Hickings counters with a stiff right hand.
Hickings looks to land a right hand but Franzen moved out of range.
Dom Franzen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hickings is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Hickings scores with a jab to the body.
Franzen wants to clinch up but Hickings keeps it at a distance.
Hickings connects with a looping right hand.

and Hickings connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Are you kidding me?! Hickings ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Franzen clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!

Dentremont takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Dentremont feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Dentremont wants to pass the guard but Franzen is keeping the position.
Dentremont throws a big elbow that misses.
Dentremont cracks Franzen with a solid left hand.
Dentremont tries to free his leg and advance position but Franzen is retaining full guard.
Franzen avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Dentremont really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Franzen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Dentremont got a little sloppy there for a moment and Franzen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dentremont has managed to get both his arms back between Franzen's legs - danger averted.

Dentremont is pushing down on Franzen's leg trying to pass to half guard. Franzen is fighting to maintain full guard but Dentremont has managed to sneak the leg through.

Let's hope that Dentremont has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Franzen is looking to cinch up a triangle. Dentremont throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Franzen's body to avoid the submission. Franzen has instead reached around Dentremont's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Franzen arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
