Barbie shoots and misses
and Kidd counters with a nice uppercut.
Kidd lets loose with a powerful body kick. Barbie will feel that in the morning.
Barbie has his takedown stuffed
and Kidd counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Barbie is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Barbie shoots for a double leg takedown but Kidd sprawls well. He's pushed Barbie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kidd follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Metal Barbie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kidd leaves Barbie with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Barbie shoots and misses
and Kidd counters with a head kick that wobbles Barbie - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Kidd sends him down. This one is all over!

Barbie feints and as Kent raises his hands in defense, Barbie changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB#
Barbie drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Barbie seems to have locked his on tight now - Kent screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Barbie, as he picks up the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Metal Barbie!
A very excited looking Metal Barbie made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

Barbie dives in for a single leg takedown but Tamar sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Barbie shoots in for a takedown but Tamar shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Barbie gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Tamar counters with a straight right hand.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tamar connects with a nice cross there... Barbie is looking wobbly and Tamar recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Barbie to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Tamar jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

Harper closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Barbie tries to buck Harper off but Harper is having none of it.

Harper cracks Barbie with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Barbie might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Barbie takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Harper lands a decent elbow from side control.
Barbie is looking to reverse the position.
Harper has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Barbie is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Borex's half guard.
Borex really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Barbie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Borex wants to improve his position but Barbie is controlling well.
Borex has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Barbie is working away from the top position though.#SUB#
Barbie seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Borex is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
