McPunch motions for Davis to come forward. McPunch throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Davis replies with a solid counter kick to the body but McPunch blocks it well.

Davis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. McPunch doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Davis is tightening it up a little... McPunch has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! McPunch reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! McPunch taps out! Nice BJJ there by Davis!

Supuaga seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Davis for as long as he can get away with.

Supuaga looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Davis with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. #T3#

Supuaga will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Supuaga's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Maatia Supuaga really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Blue Moon logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
